Mason Baseball Bash Family Involvement

Reverse Raffle Tickets:

Parents are being asked to sell the Reverse Raffle tickets.  The tickets are $50 each. Each ticket includes entrance for 2 people into the event, heavy appetizers and desserts, and one chance to win a portion of the $1500 total payout. The $1500 is split $1000 for the winner (last number remaining, $250 for the first number to be picked and $250 for the second to last number picked).  Each family is asked to sell 4 tickets. The money and ticket stubs should be turned in to Coach Bly no later than Monday, October 15th.  Please have the raffle money (in the form of a check made out to The Mason Home Run Club) and ticket stubs in a sealed envelope with your player’s name written on the envelope.  Also, please be sure that you’ve indicated if your patrons will be attending the evening event and the number to expect.  There is a place on the ticket stub to mark this.  Attendance is important to maximize the contribution of all purchasing tickets. We respectfully ask that any unsold tickets that you won’t be attempting to sell be returned AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so the club may attempt to sell them. If you want more tickets to sell, please contact Scott Johnson ( or have your guests use Venmo (@Mason-Home-Run-Club). For the Venmo option, tickets will be available at Will Call at the door of the event.

Silent Auction or Additional Raffle Items (around $200-$500 value): We need to secure high demand/high value prizes for the silent auction and additional raffles.  These are important as they are pure profit to the program. Items donated in the past that worked exceptionally well were an IPad or laptop, a weekend getaway, a TV or video game system, box seats to sporting events, autographed sports memorabilia, donations of services (such as a personal chef for an evening), etc. If anyone has connections that might help the club obtain these items or something similar, please contact Scott Johnson at .

Bash Basket Raffle:

We are asking that each family contribute one item specific to your son’s grade level, along with one or more items included on the Sign-Up Genius list (

  • Senior Families: Lottery tickets. These will make up one of the large prize baskets.
